Dear Edwardsville Orchestra Boosters Parents,
In a year of uncertainty, orchestra has provided our kids with an outlet to express themselves creatively and stay connected to each other during the pandemic, especially now that they’re back in school.
Like the District 7 elementary, middle and high school orchestra programs we support, the Edwardsville Orchestra Boosters (EOB) has shifted how we support our talented young musicians. In the past, we’ve raised $7,000 each year through our silent auction and raffles at the Tiger Town Consortium, which showcases more than 300 orchestra students and welcomes hundreds of guests. Now that the concert on April 10 will be going virtual, we’re bringing our fundraising efforts online as well!
Instead of a traditional auction, EOB is asking for direct gifts to the organization, which will go toward instrument purchases and repairs, uniforms, travel expenses, and scholarships for the 2021-2022 school year. While the format may be different, you’ll still receive some great benefits for participating:
- Donate $15 or more, and you’ll be automatically entered to win our Shop Local gift basket raffle, packed with donated goodies from EOB supporters!
- Donate $50 or more, and you’ll also receive a free TTC shirt just for you!
Our goal this year is to raise $3,500 – half of the usual amount we raise during TTC. If you’re able, please make your gift online at http://shop.orchestraboosters.com/Make-a-Donation_c6.htm. If you or your business would like to donate gift cards or other items to the Shop Local raffle, please contact us at email@example.com.
Thank you for supporting EOB, and we look forward to “seeing” you during the TTC streaming concert on April 10!
